The Swedish Lutheran Church in Toronto

Welcome to the Swedish Church in Toronto — the primary meeting place for Swedes in Toronto and throughout the GTA. As the only Swedish church in Canada, we are open to all Swedes — residents, as well as temporary visitors. We meet at the Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church, located at 25 Old York Mills Road (Yonge & Yorkmills).

Our congregation holds Swedish Language services every Sunday at 4:00 pm from September through June (Midsommar). We follow the Swedish Order of Service (Svensk Kyrkoordning) and share Holy Communion most Sundays. Following the service, you are welcome to join us for fellowship and refreshments.

On the "Activities" page, you will find more information about how you can participate in our congregation. Our membership activities include: The Toronto Swedish Singers, The Toronto Swedish Folkdancers, the Lucia Choir (for youth participating in the Lucia pageant), The Parent-Toddler Group (Småbarnssången) and Birka (our events and social committee). There are many ways you can be involved and volunteer at the church, so please have a look.
