The love you feel for each other is openly pronounced and you become a couple, no longer just for yourselves, but officially in the eyes of the congregation, and society at large.

Your wedding is the beginning of your new life together, in which you will share all phases of life — both happiness and sorrow. All surrounded by love.

For those who wish to be married in the Swedish Church in Toronto, this is where you can learn all you need to consider.

Our pastor is authorized to perform marriages in Ontario under the Marriage Act. This means that Swedish or Canadian citizens can be legally married in our church, according to the practices and customs of the Swedish Church, and that the marriage will be internationally recognized.
